Edible Japanese Zen Rock Garden

Japanese has always been producing incredible designs, but lately it really feels like they are on a roll when it comes to new ways to look at food!

Believe it or not:
these miniature meditative grounds are actually edible!

"With the unique collaboration between art directors Tomonori Saito, Shohei Sawada and Japanese wagashi artisan Motohiro Inaba, black sesame shapes resembling rocks are dusted at the base with matcha powder and placed on top a bed of sugar. A small wooden rake is supplied, giving the consumer a moment to express themselves before the garden disappears into their stomachs." The Dieline
