David Carson Presentation
Went to an inspiring presentation by David Carson at Kulturhuset.
While his style may be far off from my own sensibilities, I really appreciate his approach and point of view on design and the creative process.
One thing that got me particularly (and I am going to paraphrase here): since you are the only one living your life, rich of your own past and experiences, so should your design be as unique as a result.
It is, I daresay the beauty of it all. I went to bed smiling that night, thinking of the implications.
